Peepli [Live] Music Review

Peepli [Live] is Aamir khan's next production and in news for its A certificate. Even Aamir doesn't have any problem with it. The movie is getting attention just because of Aamir as director is Anusha Rizvi who is making her debut, actors are from rural area. The music director Ram Sampat, Indian ocean and Nageen Tanveer are new and unknown for industry.the good part was expected by Prasoon Joshi who has given lyrics.

At the music launch of Peepli [Live], Aamir plays the drum and the actor Raghuveer Yadav gave live performance which was shocking and really good. The movie contains four songs which are Des Mera, Mehngai Dayain, Zindagi se darte ho and Chola Maati ke ram.
The song Des mera is sung by Indian Ocean (he is new and unknown for box-office). The music of song is original and show the rural India. The song attack politics and system. The lines like "India se yeh desh bhayankar" in the song match the theme.

The song Mehngai Dayain is sung by actor Raguveer Yadav who also gave live performance at Peepli [Live] Music launch. In the song the instruments used are rural like Pots etc. The song makes an attack on increasing rate of everything. The effect of it on rural area is shown.

The song Zindagi se Darte ho is sung by Indian Ocean. The song is used for giving born to new energy to fight against the system and corruption. The lyrics is really good and this is the only song which some how don't use rural language.

The song Chola Maati ke ram is sung by Nageen Tanvir. Extremely well singing by her and the lyrics of this song also shows rural India. This song also shows believe of rural people in God.

On the whole as expected from Aamir, music is good and rural kind, the music also gives a touch of Haryana. The lyrics is good and now we hope movie to have a good response.

I need Aamir and Shahrukh together : Karan

The distant dream of seeing the two reigning superstars of Bollywood (for almost two decades now), Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan together on-screen may soon get accomplished. As our prolific and visionary filmmaker, Karan Johar has expressed the desire to the cast the duo in his film (in near future).

Lately at the music launch of Aamir Khan's much touted film PEEPLI [LIVE], KJo, who was there to grace the event, revealed, "Aamir Khan is a very good actor. I would love to do a film with Shahrukh Khan and him."
Aamir Khan was also positive on doing a film with Karan Johar.

"Why not? I think Karan is a very talented director. I would love to work with him. If there is a good story for me and if Karan also feels that I fit the role, I will do it," said the perfectionist.

It can be recalled that the Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan have come together on screen only once in Ashutosh Gowariker's directorial debut, PEHLA NASHA. But those were merely cameos.

Now that it comes from someone like Karan Johar, you can bet that they aren't just words and the project will materialize. Let's hope that it happens soon.

The unveiling ceremony of Aamir Khan Productions', PEEPLI LIVE was held at New Delhi's Le Meridien hotel yesterday (July 7th). Being a stickler for punctuality, producer Aamir Khan, director Anusha Rizvi and co-director Mehmud Farooqui made an appearance at almost the scheduled time.

While interacting with the media, Aamir, Anusha aand Mehmud had an extended Q&A session, right after the screening of the multiple promos of PEEPLI LIVE. Keeping his composure and demeanour, Aamir Khan was at his unflappable and pleasant best even at the most awkward and absurd questions. But more about that later.

Time for Aamir's peepli live now

Aamir Khan unveiled the first look of his next production, PEEPLI LIVE recently in the press meet held at a suburban hotel.
As we are aware of Aamir's histrionics when it comes to promotions this event too was a unique one with loads of surprises. Media was surprised to see Aamir present there before time. Most of the media people reached after him.

Aamir presented the promo to every one present and got rave response from one and all.

He spoke about his director, Anusha Rizvi and raved about her talent for making such a wonderful cinema. Anusha couldn't make it for the event for reasons not known. He also spoke about the unusually real casting and the music of the film.

Further Aamir also made it clear that PEEPLI LIVE is not about farmer suicide. It is a satirical film, which is close to JAANE BHI DO YAARON. It talks about migration problem and the divide between urban and rural India. People in cities don't know about the village life. PEEPLI LIVE highlights all these issues. It's a take on how today's media functions. The only star character in the film is the media. The media plays a very important role in the film

At media's insistence, Aamir also sang a song from the film, which he said was an authentic composition by the villagers, where they were shooting.

All set to be released on August 13, apart from Raghuvir Yadav PEEPLI LIVE only stars theatre actors.
